mondaygroup1

.

A warm welcome is assured to all ladies. We aim to suit all interests with our varied program of speakers on a wide range of topics. We are proud of our reputation for friendliness and fellowship. Pick up a current program from the Church Office and do try and join us.

HOUSEGROUPS
   housegroups

The aim of housegroups is to deepen our knowledge and understanding of our faith and its working out in practice, by meeting together for discussion. Small informal groups encourage questioning and sharing ideas and fellowship.
The syllabus is keyed in with the Fellowship Service - the evening service on the first Sunday in the month. The syllabus is prepared by the Minister in consultation with the housegroup leaders.
Groups meet once a month, often on Fridays, but some groups meet on other nights, in people's homes. Ring the Office 01903 205722 for more information

TUESDAY GROUP

TUESDAY

We meet at 8.00 pm in the Allan Fletcher Hall on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (apart from school holidays).
It is a very friendly, welcoming group for ladies of all ages. There is a varied programme with guests who talk on a wide range of topics. Sometimes there is a members evening when we share our favourite book, record or poem and get to know each other better.
The name changed from 'Young Wives' to Tuesday Group 23 years ago and some have been members for longer. The aim of the group is to be there for everyone in a caring and friendly way, so do come along and join us.
Leaders: Jackie Brown and Caroline Stone.

JUBILATE

notes

We are a singing group comprising some 26 members. We meet fortnightly on Friday evenings at 7.30 pm. in the Allan Fletcher Hall.
We sing mostly modern material such as Graham Kendrick and Roger Jones. What we might lack in 'fine tuning' is more than made up for in warmth and fellowship and the enjoyment of sharing in what we do.
We sing here at Offington and we also visit other churches and venues such as Ford Prison and St. Barnabas Hospice, sometimes performing secular programmes too.
For more information please phone the Office on 01903 205722.

OFF-BEAT

jubilate

We are a group of musicians and singers of all ages and abilities who aspire to help in the worship of the Church. We use varying styles of music from the liveliest to the most meditative.
The emphasis is very much on worship and praise, which we find enhances the fun and fellowship we share together.
Meetings are held at 7.30 pm on most Thursday evenings at 20 The Glen, Worthing. If you would like further information, please call the Office on 01903 205722. You are all welcome to join us.
