The curse of big numbers.

I’ve been reporting large numbers of vests booties etc. that everybody has been donating so generously. Those of you who are knitting so hard might be saying to yourselves at some point, “Why am I bothering? Maybe they won’t need my vest now they are getting so many in. And mine doesn’t seem to be up to the standard of the rest.” But please be reassured, the large numbers are only built up from all the individuals who are independently saying to themselves, “I want to welcome a baby in Kisiizi into the world”. For someone, your knitting will count not only as a practical gift but also the work involved will be seen a gift of love. .

I’ve just picked up the weekly bag from Cornerstone, the Methodist Church in Worthing town centre. It was such a colourful array of garments I’ll thought I’d put some pictures on the website as an inspiration to all those knitting. Thank you, thank you to all of you.
